Applying for jobs

You apply on the employer's own website. We don't receive or store CVs or applications. When you click "Apply", we count the click to show employers how many people were interested. We don't store your IP address: we store only a salted hash that changes every day, so clicks can't be linked to you.

Job alerts

If you sign up for job alerts we store your email address and the filters you chose. We send a confirmation email first (double opt-in) and only send alerts after you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can alsounsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time by email. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Employer enquiries

If you contact us through the "Post a job" form we store your name, email, company and message to reply to you. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete enquiries that don't lead to a contract after 12 months.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising. If you close the announcement bar, your browser remembers that choice in local storage on your device; it is never sent to us.

We count visits with Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool that we host ourselves on our own server in the EU; no analytics data goes to a third party. It records the page, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate location (country, region, city), but not search terms in URLs. Your IP address is used only while the request is processed: to look up that approximate location and, with your browser's user agent, to compute a salted hash that changes every month, so we can count unique visitors. Your IP address itself is not stored, and nothing is stored on your device. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Email hello@poland-devjobs.com.
